Spellcasting 301: Spring Break (Legend Entertainment, 1992)

The best game in the Spellcasting series and one of the best in Legend's catalog, Spellcasting 301 had excellent graphics and music combined with lots of genuine humor to make a truly entertaining game. As with Spellcasting 201: The Sorcerer's Appliance, the biggest (and truly only) criticism that can be laid on this game is that the plot develops well in the beginning of the game, but not a whole lot thereafter. However, there is an excellent plot twist at the end and a true surprise ending that will delight fans of the series. Somewhat difficult, though not frustrating, this game also has tons of puzzles, most of which have multiple solutions, or are optional (it is NOT necessary to solve all of the puzzles in the game in order to win, though it is much fun to try to do so). Spellcasting 301 is an excellent game for anyone.
