Battletech: The Crescent Hawk's Inception (Infocom, 1988)

Though the name would suggest that BattleTech was a strategy game, and while it did have plenty of strategic and role-playing elements in it, it was basically an adventure game as you needed to solve several interlocking puzzles and find the people, objects, and information necessary to solve the main quest of the game. But, when compared with the other Infocom graphic games (such as Zork Zero or Journey: The Quest Begins), BattleTech: The Crescent Hawk's Inception really falls short, being somewhat easy and with limited replay value, though several situations in the game have multiple solutions that should all be experienced. However, with a lot of action and an interesting plot that develops throughout the game, this is a good game to play if you are into the BattleTech games, or if you enjoy a very unusual combination of strategy, role-playing, and adventure games.
