The Bard's Tale Construction Set (Interplay, 1991)

The Bard's Tale Construction Set was interesting although considerably limited program which was supposed to allow you to design your own games using the famous Bard's Tale engine. While it was, of course, interesting to be able to do this, there was a fair amount of programming-like tasks involved, and you were extremely limited in the things you could do, both dungeon-wise and graphic-wise. These were, by far, the biggest drawbacks to this otherwise average product. If you are a fan of Bard's Tale and have the patience or experience required to figure out how to perform relatively complex actions with very little game and manual support, then you might enjoy this, but, failing that, this is probably better to skip.
